Everybody these days shows some screenshots or detailed information about their upcoming software. Today we are doing the same thing with SolarSeek 1.0.
We reached a step where the core is searching, downloading and uploading files. You may say “Hey, well done. But how will the app look like?!”. For this question we have two screenshot for you.
Here you can find your personal settings once you’ve connected to the network.
Downloads and Uploads are present as an outline view. To keep your transfers organized SolarSeek tracks a files associated search term. With the filter bar you can sort out the files you don’t want to see.
Is this worth waiting? If you think so, the waiting time is even shorter if you help us programming! Every interested person is invited to support us. Visit our development section for further information.

Looks sweet!
Wish I had the skills needed to help.
BTW, it’s King Khan, not Kahn. :)

Nice to see development progressing. One minor thing: a typo in the second shot (‘Avtive’ should be ‘Active’).
Really cool to see folder downloading has been added at last.

looks really awesome! i hope the release will be soon as i’m really missing soulseek on the mac platform – there’s no alternative as good as your project. but right now not really usable coz of crashes, less results and aborted downloads. hope, this will change with 1.0! good luck guys! i’m really looking forward to your software!

I am so excited that SolarSeek development continues!
Before a necessary upgrade to OSX 10.4, I used SolarSeek a lot!! But only an older version (.67 or something, even when .9x came out because the earlier one worked MUCH better). All the .9x ones have not been useful to me, but I do have high hopes for the project still!
MANY THANKS TO ALL DEVELOPERS PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE! :)

We may also say… “Hey, well done. Will anything ever be released?” This post was over a year ago!
